• Pre-entries will open April 28th, 2025, and close May 20th, 4pm. Entries received the day of the event will be at the bottom of the draw. Remember to bring cash if entering the day of the event.  Late entries will close at 8:00pm Friday for Saturday's event, and will close at 8:00pm Saturday for Sunday's event.  No late fees.
• OPEN - $1000 Added each day
• FUTURITY - $250 Added each day
• DERBY - $250 Added each day

Entry Fees:
Open: $50.00 per day
Youth: $35.00 per day
Select: $35.00 per day
PeeWee: $10.00 per day
Futurity / Derby: $20.00 per day (Sidepots) must provide a copy of your registration papers.
** Youth and Select who are carrying over will run in the Open

Toonie runs will be from 4:00pm to 5:30pm on Friday  $2.00n per run.  Bucket will be at the gate.
Toonie runs will start 7:30am on Saturday & Sunday  $2.00 per run.
Pre-Entry Draw will be posted Friday, May 24th by 12pm. Draw day of the event will be posted half an hour prior to start time.

 

• Current MBRA membership or permit is mandatory to compete if you do not have a membership/permit, you will not be allowed to compete!

 

• Completion of entry form (with contestant’s signature) will indicate acceptance of the Rope and Race Event Rules & Regulations.

 

• Sidepot: Futurity horses are horses 5 years old and under; Derby horses are 7 years old and under.

 

• We ask contestants to be ready when called, there are multiple events to get through this weekend.

 

• When a contestant knocks a barrel, no time will be entered. A “no time” will also be given if a barrel is knocked over and sets up again on either end.

 

• If there is a timer malfunction- that horse and rider will take their rerun in the next section of the rake. If during a run and the timer malfunctions and a barrel has been knocked there will be no re-run granted

 

• Western dress code is required for the event (cowboy hat / helmet and long sleeve shirt)
• Start times may be adjusted depending on number of entries.
